The point is made that over the past decade, we have seen major changes in technology, and these technologies have worked their ways into our daily lives. By relying on these technologies, we now find ourselves in a much different world than we were 3650 days ago.

The author seems to make assumptions that everyone is very tied to these technologies. “We invest ourselves in our artificial realities rather than involve ourselves with the actual one,” is a statement with which I wouldn’t agree. At times this may be true, but to lay this as a blanket statement for society as a whole, I can’t agree with. The author also uses sentences that are too long winded (maybe run-on sentences) that make the comprehension of the article difficult.
Hey Mr. Henry I agree the piece is long-winded and difficult to follow (probably a good choice for this excercise then)
My take on the central idea of the article is it is the uncertainty of life/prediction/forecast in a transitional age where new technology has information immediate/accessible/selective.
